A few snappy pre-party pics. It seemed that once the guests arrived and the prosecco was poured, we forgot to pick up the camera again. We didn't even get a good photo of the cake, which was quite the sprinkles and smarties extravaganza. Next time Gadget. Next time.

A big Thank You for all the super birthday love on her birthday post. It means the world.

Ps Sadly, no snow on the big day but I'm happy to report we got our first flurry tonight. ''Bubbles! Bubbles!'', screamed Elke with delight. Hooray!

Oh gorgeous Elke!
Love the photo peeking around the door...you can really feel her excitement! Oh to be a kid again.

Sounds and looks like you made a beautiful party for her...and had a little fun yourself! xx

I know a little boy who would go crazy over those ladybird pegs - too cute! Seems like you had an amazing party. And having no photos to show if proof of that. Happy birthday again gorgeous Elke! xx

I am loving these pictures: genius on the outfit, food, etc. We had a Pat the Bunny themed party for my daughter's 1st birthday this summer...but she was totally unaware of what the fuss was all about. Next year!

Love the dress and sandals. And in December. The girl's a rule breaker. Look at her excited little face - looks like an awesome party. Love the decor and her teeny ponytail xx

Think I may just have to get some orange sandals - they look fantastic!

Love the party dress... I have one the same, but in black (is that wrong?)!

Looks like a lovely party - and that spiky ponytail kills me.

Enjoy those little snowflakes x
