I found these beauties at the vegie shop today! I have never seen a white eggplant before but apparently the colour and shape were the reasons they were called 'eggplants' in the first place. Now off to see if they taste just as good...

Aha!

We have finally solved the mystery to Elke's restless nights this week....teeth! After countless false alarms over the past couple of months it seems the little miss has finally cut her first tooth. Me thinks it may be time to purchase one of those amber necklaces sported by all teething bubs here in Germany.

I tried to find a photo of Elke crying but apparently we have none so this was the closest I could get to her looking glum. Ok, so she doesn't look that sad but she had just been crying and you can see her eyes are still a little red...

Hier ist sommer.

Finally, after one of the longest winters Munich has seen for some time, summer has arrived. What better time to crack out our new anhänger (bike trailer) and hit our favourite natural pool. We put it in stroller mode and Oli and Elke had a great old time in there together. Even enjoying a little nap on the way home.
