"April hath put a spirit of youth in everything" - Shakespeare.
Our first weekend back in town. We had the most amazing month in Sydney (will post pics soon. watch this space.) and saying goodbye to the city proved more difficult this time around. Oli informed us many times throughout our trip that he wouldn't be coming back to Munich and then proceeded to cry on and off the whole way home. Alas, spring has well and truly sprung here and we definitely made the most of it over the past few days. Fun times spent playing in the sandpit, drinking prosecco with neighbours (hello Mani!), a BBQ in Heather's amazing garden and the first beer of the season at our local biergarten, the Flaucher, with friends. Unfortunately it seemed to have misplaced its playground. Not the ideal situtation for Oli but for Elke it was heaven - one huge sand pit, perfect for collecting rocks and dirt.
We're gearing up to enjoy what could be one of our last summers here. Let's just hope the weather gods can bring it to the table this year.

Looks and sounds like fun. I remember those awful feelings of leaving your hometown. Happy Summer-ing
Ah Spring. Beer. How divine. And speaking of divine - Elke's sandals! I love them. Looking forward to seeing a bit of Sydney (my home) through your eyes and lovely photos. Kellie xx
