Just a bit of origami we whipped up on the weekend. And by 'we' I mean 'I'. We always intend to origami together but there's something about the act of folding paper that brings out the perfectionist in me. What begins with the intention of some mother-son bonding, ultimately ends with us parting ways. Ola, bored with my quest for straight lines and sharp corners, wanders off to find something less bossy and compulsive to play with, leaving me to fold alone.
Next on the list: origami dinosaurs.

I'm still kicking myself for losing my Lisa Mitchell tickets a few months back, so Dave came home yesterday and surprised me with some to John Butler Trio for next month. Today I saw his JBT and raised him tickets to Angus and Julia Stone. Now it's just the small matter of finding a babysitter...

Nice origami - I like the way you fold. I've had wonderful intentions of making an origami crane mobile for my baby girl, but nothing appears to be happening. I struggled with the instructions to be honest. Any suggestions? Or links?
oh thanks you...i try! im struggling with cranes as well. a crane mobile sounds delightful. my sil made some origami with paper from old children's books which sounds so cool. i'll have a look at some links and send you a few. some of them are just so damn confusing! x
share your sentiments, esp bit about being controlling, compulsive mom aka neha-mom bonding sessions.

i think you're flying back from the mother-land on the 14th november but the other concert is sometime in october - the 18th? mani, i think youre in singapore dammit!
these boats rock! I wish I could make them. I am sure I would be like you, and completely take over from Keely. x
