Another photo from the archive, taken just as summer arrived in Munich. Oh, and what a pathetic summer it was. Well and truly crap. It rained pretty much for the entire month of August. And July. June had its moments. But it seems Autumn is well and truly here and we're feeling slightly ripped off about the whole thing. After 7 long months of cold weather we felt we really earned that summer. Dammit. We did our time. We paid our dues. Here's hoping Chess and Kim bring some of that Sydney sunny goodness when they come in 2 weeks. And some freckles, caramello koalas, red frogs...Daumen drücken*!
Tomorrow we are buying a new camera. It was a toss up between that and a washing machine. Camera won. Clean clothes are overrated anyway.

* 'Thumbs pressed' - German equivalent of 'fingers crossed'. You make a fist and cover thumb with fingers. You never know when you may need to wish a German good luck...Sebastian Vettel perhaps. Based on his last few performances, he is one worthy candidate.

You know what you are the second one who told me that the shoes sort of are not the same after the came in contact with rain...Did you waterproof them. It was raining here in Sydney today and I am glad I didn't wore them, after you warned me..thanks..And yes, the yellow ones are amazing too...they even had them in brown here in Sydney.
