After finally scoring a spot in the MunichRe apartments at Schliersee (that place can be booked out for up to 5 months at a time), Elke comes down with a fever. By Sunday morning things were looking up in the health department, so we decided to head out there for a day trip instead. With our neighbours Ina, Andreas and little Lina in tow we jumped on the train and headed to the lake town. Unfortunately, the weather was pretty dismal. As swimming was not on the cards we caught the cable-car up to the top of one of the mountains. And boy was ít worth it. Hello pool, trampolines, putt-putt and awesome roller coaster ride thing (see 5th photo). Oli was in his element. Oh and the view wasn't bad either.
To get back down the mountain there was the choice of either the cable car or a tobaggan run (think Jamberoo). Just our luck it rained not long before we decided to call it a day and therefore the run was closed. David is still so very, very bitter.
