Street Festival in Schwabing.

Today we spent the afternoon walking past the numerous stalls set up for this weekend's street festival. We had nutella crepes, steckerlfisch (yummy fish cooked on a stick over a charcoal fire) and bier. We also managed to smuggle some lollies home - yes they are smurfs! By the way, the rather large, white statue, aptly named 'The Walking Man', is one of Munchen's many tourist attractions. It also happens to be situated directly in front of David's work. The arch behind Oli & David is the Siegestor Gate (Victory Gate) completed in 1852 originally dedicated to the Bavarian Army and commissioned by King Ludwig I of Bavaria (grandfather of 'mad' King Ludwig II).
