Munchen to Salzburg in just over an hour.
Our first trip outside of Germany and much to our disappointment we didn't even get our passports stamped...or even need them for that matter.
Nevertheless, we had a fantastic yet cold & rainy day exploring the 'old town', with its baroque architecture and windy alleys. Oh and we made sure we came away with our fair share of Austrian chocolate. Most of which we managed to consume in the car on the way home.
Just a shame for D that he missed out on the Sound of Music tour as I had already been many years ago and he insisted that I didn't need to go again. Next time Gadget, next time...
